Kumudini Garments

The country s major earning sector is readymade garments and the female workers are the main driving force. Keeping this in mind, back in 1984 Kumudini started a 100 percent export-oriented garments factory. Focussing solely on creating employment opportunities particularly for women and earning foreign remittance, Kumudini Garments division is now employing around 850 workers, of which 95 percent are women.

The apparels manufactured at Kumudini are exported to various European countries like France, The Netherlands etc.
